Audie Murphy was a great inspiration to me.. His selfless courage his ablity to make the right call under the worst conditions.

He brought that determination to the screen. I wish I could have known him. More people should know about this great American Hero and human being.

We're enjoying the Audie Murphy movies on TCM tonight. I am a Vietnam Vet and just recently got to visit Arlington Cemetery for the first time. It was an awesome experience and also got to see Murphy's grave marker. It is an honor to have served my country and I continue to work as a Chaplain at the Atlanta International Airport where we support our soldiers who are traveling to and from Iraq and Afghanistan. Please visit us a our website, AirportChapel dot com. Let's show them that we still care. Thanks!

My wife and I just saw "Bad Boy" on Turner Broadcasting and I wanted to read up on Audie. It was great to find this site and to learn more about him. I'm eager to read more about him and to understand all of accomplishments and his heroism.

I have enjoyed Audie Murphy's movie to Hell and Back. He was a true American hero. He died too soon and too young.
