Thank you, Audie Murphy, for your service to our country. My dad, Frank Littleton, Jr., and four of his brothers fought, in WWII. He always had a lot of respect for you....he said you were a "real soldier." By the way, only three of my dad's brothers came home from WWII. One is buried in Bethany Cemetary in France. Again, thank you! Added: June 26, 2011

I was 21 when I heard the news of the death of Audie Murphy. I remember I was in the kitchen of my parents home listening to the radio when the annoucement came. I stood and cried. In my mind, he was the epitome of what our military should represent. Young, humble and brave men that did what they felt was right and did it well without thought of recognition for doing their job. This was at a time when our country was still involved with Viet Nam and most people didn't treat the returning soldiers with any respect or compassion. Now, my son is in the military and tries to uphold the beliefs and courage that defined SSG Audie Murphy. Added: June 25, 2011 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

I JUST LOCATED THIS WEB SITE BUT HAVE BEEN AN AUDIE MURPHY FAN FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. I FIRST READ "TO HELL AND BACK" MANY YEARS AGO, THEN SAW THE MOVIE BY THE SAME NAME AND FROM THERE SPREAD OUT TO BECOMING A WATCHER OF HIS MOVIES. TO SAY THE LEAST HIS STORY AND WITNESS ARE INSPIRING AND PATRIOTIC.
