IT IS A SHAME THAT TODAY'S KIDS DON'T KNOW WHO AUDIE WAS AND THAT IF THEY WERE LOOKING FOR A REAL HERO, THEY COULD COME TO THIS MEMORIAL AND FIND OUT ABOUT A REAL HERO. THANKS YOU FOR PUTTING THIS UP FOR EVERYONE TO SEE. I WAS IN WASHINGTON D. C. THIS MONTH AND WAS ABOUT TO STAND BY HIS GRAVE, IT MADE ME REMEMBER ALL OVER AGAIN WHAT A GREAT AMERICAN HE WAS. SEEING THE FLOWERS AND MONEY THAT PEOPLE LEAVE ON HIS TOMBSTONE TELLS ME THAT THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE THAT FEEL THE WAY I DO. Added: June 23, 2011

The only thing I think should've been done doing his life and wasn't......he should've been in a movie with John Wayne. Then we really would have the greatest movie of all time recorded and available to watch and enjoy. These 2 and add in Jimmy Stewart... Just imagine the enjoyment! All have been great losses to the big screen and the people in their lives. Added: June 22, 2011 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

Looking forward to Audie Murphy Day Celebration in Greenville this Friday. He was a great American hero, and a good man.
