I remember my father talking about Audie Murphy, reference to the movies and his WWII involvement. I'm now just catching up on the life of Audie Murphy as well as watching some of his movies. Initially I can understand why my dad liked him in the movies. Seemingly easy going, "playing it cool". C

Audie Murphy has been one of hero's since I was a child. Both of my grandfathers fought in WWII and both came home thankfully. I used to watch movies about Audie and have always been enthrawled with his heroism. I was thrilled to find the website. Bravo!

I went to see the movies at the Grand movie house in the late 40's and early 50's to see Audie play himself in WW2 movies and he was my Hero.

Audie has been talked about in my family since my earliest memories. He was a great American and soldier and a role model for us all in many ways. Rest assured that my children who serve our country know and their children will learn of this brave man.
