I have found this to be a wonderful website with all the information you could want to get started on Audie L. Murphy. I am doing a program on his birthday 6/20/2011 for my library. I have found so much right here. I think the USA should always remember Audie for the lesson he taught on patriotism. Thank you for not letting him slip into obscurity. Added: June 17, 2011

I can't believe Audie's been gone from us 40 years. My heart was broken when he died and it still is. Such a wonderful and beautiful young man. No one can replace him in my heart. I have all his films and what a consolation it is to be able to see him alive and fascinating in all his ways. I pray for him always and remember him every day. God rest your heroic, selfless soul, dearest Audie. Added: June 16, 2011 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

We're enjoying the Audie Murphy movies on TCM tonight. I am a Vietnam Vet and just recently got to visit Arlington Cemetery for the first time. It was an awesome experience and also got to see Murphy's grave marker. It is an honor to have served my country and I continue to work as a Chaplain at the Atlanta International Airport where we support our soldiers who are traveling to and from Iraq and Afghanistan. Please visit us a our website, AirportChapel dot com. Let's show them that we still care. Thanks!
