As a Army vet, and also from Texas I heard of Audie Murphy growing up in the 50s and 60s. And I'm proud that he also is a Texan.

As a young child, I saw the movie about Billy the Kid with Audie being the Kid. It started my interest in him and To Hell & Back made it even more. He went through many military actions which I cannot comprehend in its violence but understand the reason for it. He was a hero to me and will always be that. All WWII veterans are my heroes.

Ten year military veteran. My deepest respects to a man who proved that size doesn't matter.
