Have been a fan of his ever since I was a child. I was born and raised in India but left about 35 years ago to live permenantly overseas. As a young person, I have seen every war movie and western that Audie Murphy has acted in. It is a shame he left us so young. I was privileged to stand alongside his grave in Arlington Cemetery when I visited a few years ago. The photograph is treasured. Thank you.

i first learned of Audie when my dad and i hear his death on the radio and i asked my dad, a navy Korean War veteran, who he was. i later watched the movie, To Hell And Back, and all the western he made. He was one great man and so young to go through all he went through. thank you for keeping his memory alive. :)

Lt. Audie Murphy was one of a list of officers that I would consider it an honor to follow into combat, and another is mentioned here also. Gen. Franks, STRENGTH AND HONOR SIR!
