I have been a fan of Audie Murphy since I can remember (I am 63 yrs. old) I remember a a young man watching his movies with a keen interest. I became especially intrigued when I discovered that he was a Freemason and Brother. I have served as Worshipful Master of my lodge in Pennsylvania on three occasions and I have presented numerous speeches to various Masonic groups about Brother Murphy. Most have been presented for a Veteran's Day related meeting. I am currently (10/2011) preparing a paper for submission to a Masonic organization which I will orally deliver to the group and then present the paper for possible publication at a later time. Suffice it to say that great is my admiration for this American icon and Mason! Added: October 2, 2011 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

My heartfelt thanks remains with all those who gave so much of themselves that I, now 75 years old, do proudly say it is because of their unselfishness that I have been blessed with a life lived in a country like no other. Freedom is not free, and these brave men and women are proof of that. May we never forget how much was spent to make us a free nation, and how much is still to be done to keep it a free and great nation. United we stand and divided we fall. There is no room among our leaders for division...we must protect our Constitution and what it means to all who love this United States of America. Thank you Audie for all you gave without hesitation or regret. My Great American Hero!
