I am very proud of this man for what he did for our country and the men under his command. I too am a veteran and salute him for his service. I have seen all of his western movies and enjoyed them all. May he rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.

As a young girl my mother told me about Audie Murphy. I would watch old movies on our black and white tv and she would explain how he was a real war hero not just an actor. Although I am in my 50's now, I am still proud to call him a hero of mine and how proud as an American I am for what he stood for. He will forever be in my mind and heart. God speed Audie Murphy.
