I'm a retired MSG with 22 years of service with the US Army, on the day Audie Murphy died, I enlisted in the Army 5/28/1971....My son shares Audie Murphy's birthday 6/20/1985...When I finally visited Arlington National Cemetery last September, I was surprised to learn Audie Murphy's resting place was the second most visited grave in Arlington, only President Kennedy's grave is visited more......BTW he was a great actor as well......

Loved his movies as a child growing up in a small town.
We had two western movies almost every Saturday afternoon. I also remember seeing the movie To Hell and Back.
