What an informative website, honoring Audie Murphy, His service
To the U.S and many other countries during WW11 has been
Well documented and serves as a true remembrance to all, lest we forget our real American heroes.

My father and his brother fought in WW11, also. My father was with the Fourth Infantry Division and landed on Utah Beach on Day 2 of the
Normandy Invasion. Tough as the fighting was, he survived but
lost his brother in the war.

Thanks for the opportunity to remember the most decorated war hero.

He was a great man.The first western movie i watched was starting him in it. I read his biography and saw all the medals he got for his service. Thank you so much for serving our country Mr. Murphy.

I discovered you in your movies, then I was able to read your biography. I realized the sacrifice you made so that I could be free. This realization also made me understand the sacrifice my pop (U.S. Bond), and well as many others made in World War II. This was not a war I lived through, but I do realize the enormity of war now, and sacrifice that was contributed. Always my hero Audie L. Murphy, and my admiration.
