Just one of my heroes. I put him right along with John Wayne if that tells you
Something. I think I have seen all of his movies as I do with John Wayne even though I have seen them several times all others are put on hold. Thanks he will always be in my thoughts.

I wasn't sure if I signed this, so here goes! My uncle, Brg. Gen. Halette D. Edson was the officer who pinned Audie's lieutenant bars on him. I am proud to be a part of the Edson family. My father's sister Faith, was the wife of Gen. Edson.
