Loved his movies as a child growing up in a small town.
We had two western movies almost every Saturday afternoon. I also remember seeing the movie To Hell and Back.

Ive always been a fan of audie he was my fav actor in westerns I remember goin to cinema as a child with my brother just to see audie he was an incredible brave human being as a soldier he should never be forgotten love you audie x

Audie Murphy's grandmother was a sister of my great
grandmother--------that makes us cousins. We descended
from John Berry and his 3rd wife Hannah Devore of Georgetown, Texas. Their remaining league of land is now
Berry Springs Park.

I've always admired Audie Murphy. I knew he was a hero then and is a hero now. I watched his movies as a kid and I was saddened by his death, right around the same time as Jim Croce and not really much in the press. As a retired army paratrooper I admire him even more... I know what he went through and not one word of PTSD from him.
