I grew up going to the matinee to see his movies. As I aged, I realized he was much more than a cowboy! What an honor and privilege to have this American hero in our lifetime!

I grew up watching Audie's movies. My Dad would always remind me that Audie was the most decorated soldier. While in college I did a paper on him (2012) and found out that none for the other students knew he was. He was a major influence for me to join the service from 1978 to 1991. To this day he stands tall against all the people I have known through the years. A real hero and always will be.

I just love Audie Murphy ! He is one of the greatest American War Heroes of all time. i have watched many of his movies as a young person and knew at the time, that he was a a real-life war hero. I saw a pretty large picture of him at the Country Buffet restaurant in Denver, and asked my Daughter (30) and the cashier if they knew who he was. I informed them that he was Audio Murphy, a Great War Hero of WWII. He's a Great Man and my Favorite War Hero of all time. Signed: Michael Lee, Master Sergeant, United States Air Force, Retired
