I have been watching alot of Audie Murphy's biography and movies. I am overwhelmed with pride that Audie was also from Texas. What a beautiful, wonderful soul. I don't think I have enough room to use all the great adjectives to describe this young man taken from this earth way to soon. He will always be alive in my heart. I want to make a trip to his museum soon. I wish I could tell him how much I appreciate and love him. The USA needs his bravery and loyalty these days. Standing in Awe, Lisa Dillard

My Dad had the honor of meeting and escorting Audie when he visited Boston in the 1960's. I have a picture of my Dad with Audie and the Boston Police Commissioner..they all had the same last name as Murphy. My Dad always remembered meeting Audie and always mentioned how humble he was and had the picture in a prominent place. I am proud to now own that picture! Neal Murphy, Wimauma, Fl

There are no words to describe the respect and awe I have of this truly heroic soldier. No general could ever equal his courage and cool head under fire. Truly deserving of every honor he received and should be awarded the Medal of Freedom!
