I remember many years ago, that he was working towards finding ways to recognise PTSD. I used to watch his movies with my grandfather who was also a WWII veteran. Both of my grandfathers were. :D Added: May 25, 2020

In the time of Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo, this ordinary American kid answered his country's call and fought and served with distinction in the worst war the world has ever endured. His bravery, gallantry and humbleness serve as an inspiration to all of us. He's always been a hero to me and many others. He showed us all what one man can do when the going gets tough. Hey! My boyfriend and I watch GRITS (a fox tv station) it show old western movies. Well I've became a big fan of Audie Murphy!! I decided to look him up after watching a movie with him in it today to find out that he was the most decorated soldier of WW11!! Tomorrow is Memorial Day and I'd be honored to honor him for his sacrifices and achievements!! This was totally awesome to find out especially today!! I'm a fan of his movies, but, the main reason I'm a fan, is that he is a true American Hero. What he did for our country, is well above and beyond, what he had to do. He was taken from us far too soon, and he is missed dearly. Thank you, Audie, you make me proud to be an American.
