Greetings to the AMRF and Terry Murphy.
"Front Page Newspapers of WW2"

After some time of pondering where I should placed my grandmothers WW2 scrapbook of the front pages of"The Houston Chronicle", "The Houston Post" and "The Houston Press", I have decided to give the book, dated Dec. 7, 1941 thru Dec 31, 1942 to my sweetheart, Audie Murphy.

I could have given this to WW2 Museum in New Orleans, but decided to give to AMRF. I am 76, have no sons, and need to preserve this book for all to enjoy.

Audie Murphy is a great hero, and I both admire and am proud of him. It is a pity that fewer people remember such feats. Greetings from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. You and your feat will live in our hearts.

Audie Murphy has always been one of my heroes. He did Texas proud! I suspect that he was the inspiration behind the saying “Don’t mess with Texas! 😉 I wish I could have shaken his hand and given him a big Texas hug (and maybe a peck on the cheek!) while he was alive! We here in Texas will never forget him; he’s a true Texas hero! We loved him! We
