I am a high school teacher and I had a student named Audie this year. I asked him about his name and he said he was named after the WWII hero. His memory still lives.

My uncle Dudley boleware was a good friend to mr Murphy. My uncle has passed now but was at mr murphys funeral and was a good friend to his wife.

Thank you for continuing with this great effort and recongizing this individual. My daughter, Holly Michelle Chesnut-Milton received this award at Fort Riley KS in Dec. of 2011. It was a great honor for her and will be remembered forever.
