June 20th-Remembering Audie Murphy on this day--his 87th birthday--America's greatest combat soldier, a great human being and a great patriot. I pray to God that Americans will stop worshipping the moral degenerates in Hollywood and honor and remember Audie and his fellow veterans who did something truly great for America--at great personal sacrifice--they gave them an imperishable gift--their freedom! God bless you, Audie and may God help America! Added: June 19, 2012

Audie Murphy was my childhood hero after seeing "To Hell and Back" in the late 50's. I grew up in Texas. My father's next door neighbor, when he was a kid, was a Medal of Honor recipent, James Logan from the 36th Division. I wish someone would contact Ron Howard or Steven Speilberg about redoing "To Hell and Back." Added: June 19, 2012 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

I would have loved to have served with this true hero but that could not have happened. I was only 12 years of age when the war started. Joined the Navy Jan 1948.
Retired after 20 years as a Master Chief Radioman
This man's career has always fascinated me.
