As a Navy veteran It is with great admiration and respect and an honor to visit this website honoring Audie Murphy. There will never be another Audie Murphy, but I should wish a lot more like him would make themselves known. We could use some real heroes. Thank you.

Audie Murphy was my true American Hero when I was young. The only time I wasn't outside playing was when there was an Audie Murphy movie on TV.

Just back home after celebrating my father-in-laws birthday. His military service came up in conversation and a subsequent story of how he met Audie in Japan on R&R while he was serving in Korea and Audie was filing in Japan (I think that's the story). He has a photo somewhere. Will work on tracking it down and forwarding it on. Great site!! Thank you.

CORINNE BURNS

Any information would be appreciated
