I have the utmost respect for Audi Leon Murphy. He is my hero one down from our Lord Jesus Christ. I feel His name should be honored much more and talked by the media much much more than what has been said in the past. This man was a man and world war hero at age 18. . What's wrong American's? . I have enjoyed Audie Murphy's western movies since I was very young and I enjoy them even more now that I'm older. Thank you Audie and God bless you.

What a great American hero. It would have been an honor to have meet this man. This is truly what our youth need to see as role models. Thanks for the web site.

It is an honor for me to be a part of this presentation to such a great American hero and patriot. Audie Murphy will always be my favorite person to read about and watch his westerns. I was not aware of all that he did for veterans after he became a movie star and how he himself suffered with POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER all his life until he died. Thank you, Major Audie Murphy, for your service to our country. May God bless you always.
Respectfully,

Michael A. Johnson

He IS the greatest! I still think of him a lot and wish to God that he had not been killed so young. It seems so unfair.

I bought one of the commemorative rifes from America Remembers. It is my favorite.

I also watch the Western station on Encore and always look forward to seeing one of his westerns. I wish they would show more.

I am teaching my children to honor those whom serve, past and present. Our family dog, a rat terrier, is named after the late and great Audie Murphy. Through him, it gives us the opportunity to educate those whom are unaware of this legendary soldier. His name suits him well and our whole neighborhood is well aware of Audie's greatness! He may not walk amongst us, but he remains in servicemen's hearts everywhere. Forever will be loved, honored and never forgotten.
