I only recently learned about Audie Murphy and have searched the web and watched every movie I can find, began with To Hell and Back. What an amazing young man he was..what an inspiration he has remained. In the times in which we live when liberty is at stake...I surely do wish we had a million like him. What a man.

His story, life, writings such a blessing. I thank God for Audie Murphy and his legacy.

I remember well going to the drive in with the family being treated to many Audie Murphy films and as I have become older feel the need to make sure he is remembered and given the respect such an heroic man deserves. Thanks for the site.

He was a true American Hero and we were taught history in school about the most decorated soldier in WW2. His movie To Hell & Back starring himself will always remain in my heart. :!inlove:

Physically this is perhaps the bravest man in history. Despite that he was only 5'5'' and had a very weak physical appearance. He showed us all that we can make a difference despite of our physical limitations.
