What can I say about Audie Murphy that hasn't already been said.
Audie was a patriotic American, who served his country with Dignity and Honor. His military achievements are well documented in history and his movie "To Hell and Back". Not only was Audie a war hero, he was an excellent performer. I can remember watching Audie Murphy in countless Western and Military movies. I always looked up to Audie Murphy as my "hero" and always wanted to be like him. Audie never played in a movie that I would not want to take my kids to. His morals and standard of ethics were well above most actors.

R.I.P. Audie Murphy.... You done well.medal of honor

I admire the courage and sacrifices of Audie Murphy very much. Although I have served in two combat tours I have not even come close to the accomplishments of this honorable man. He is someone that I will always emulate in my military career.
