My father,a WW2 navy vet took me to the movies to see "To Hell and Back" in about 1957. It was great then and I still watch it again and again. I told my son about Audie Murphys' career and his medals,especially his medals. There is not much interest with the younger generation. God bless..Chris

One of the heros people need to learn about from the beginning of their education. Maybe we need to start a special day to commerate his name, to remind us of what people can do when we try and look to help our country. I personnally thank Audie Murphy for his abilitities to help our country and his family in a time when we needed heros to step forward. To give that little extra without regard to himself.
