Im 38 an sadly audie had passed away before i was even born. A friend of mine last week whos 67 an a huge audie fan asked me if id look on internet for what audies middle name was as all she remembered was it began with L. She then asked me if i could write some info down on audie an i began to do so from wikipedia. Needless to say i hadnt a clue who audie was until i began to research for my friend. As i read an wrote down audies life story i was amazed by this great man an his courage an determination. I will now be looking out for when audies films are on here in the UK etc. Id like to thank him an all soldiers and armed forces women and men past/present day for their sacrifices i am an always will be very grateful

I can only wonder at the exploits of Mr. Murphy. I cannot image the horrors he lived through, yet saved so many American lives. I feel infinitely sad that there was no one to help him with his psycological problems after the war. He really is a man that America should always remember and honor.

This native Texan is proud of native son Audie. Words cannot adequately honor him. I pray that he and his exceptional service to the United States of America will always be remembered.
