It's a cold Sunday afternoon here in UK and SIX BLACK HORSES has just started on the TV - 1962 and one of the many westerns I have enjoyed from a young age starring AM. He died when I was just 9 but I have never forgotten him and my dad made me aware of his contribution to the second world war. Today I happened to have my laptop on when the film started so I googled him and found this wonderful tribute. He was my childhood movie hero and a hero in a far greater sense to many across the world. I hope he is never forgotten and it is a sad thing that we didn't have the knowledge or resources to be able to support him with his problems as we would have done today.
