As a boy my hero and mentor was my Dad, he served as a pfc in the US MARINES during WW2,and was in three major battles the last being Iwo Jima. Then the movie to Hell and back came out and Dad took me to see it. Well between my Dad and Audi Murphy these to men and the courage they have shown me, shaped my military career of 28yrs, 6 in the navy and 22 in the army. Thank you Dad and Audi

I remember Audie Murphy and I still watch his movies, most notable "To Hell And Back" My husband ask's me all the time Haven't I watched it enough. I tell him NO.
