I first started learning about Audie Murphy the actor from the Encore Western Channel. Then from there, I liked him and started looking up his name for other movies. I just learned that he was a real war hero today. I saw the movie he played, I guess his own life story, him in WW2. Proud to know who he is, and glad to find out about him. I will pass this story about him to my family and friends. Thank you.... Added: February 7, 2013

Too few are left with the stories left by our loved ones about the times that they lived in during WWII. My Father left me with his story that now sadly many do not talk about. Audie's story of valor and service is a standard bearer for all of our families stories all worthy to be told and remembered. Added: February 5, 2013

I just happened upon this page, but I find it really cool that there are a lot of people that honors and respects him! I am a young adult, yet I know about him through my dad. It just so happens that Audie Murphy was my distant cousin I'm really glad someone made this to honor him! Added: February 5, 2013
