Comment: I served in Vietnam in 1970 with the 101st Airborne Division as an E-5, in both combat and intelligence operations. When I left Boston to go "in country', my late dad, who had served in WW II, gave me some great advice.
He told me to be safe and carry myself as the type of soldier Audie Murphy was. I did not receive the decorations Audie Murphy did, but I did my job and took care of whatever assignment I was given. God Bless you, Audie !!!
