I can only wonder at the exploits of Mr. Murphy. I cannot image the horrors he lived through, yet saved so many American lives. I feel infinitely sad that there was no one to help him with his psycological problems after the war. He really is a man that America should always remember and honor.

This native Texan is proud of native son Audie. Words cannot adequately honor him. I pray that he and his exceptional service to the United States of America will always be remembered.

A true American hero and fellow veteran. His movies have brought many hours of enjoyment to myself and my wife. Thanks for ALL you've done both on the battle field and on the big screen.

As a boy my hero and mentor was my Dad, he served as a pfc in the US MARINES during WW2,and was in three major battles the last being Iwo Jima. Then the movie to Hell and back came out and Dad took me to see it. Well between my Dad and Audi Murphy these to men and the courage they have shown me, shaped my military career of 28yrs, 6 in the navy and 22 in the army. Thank you Dad and Audi
