Audie was quite obviously a remarkable person, his achievements speak for themselves. I read his Poems, simple but very well crafted. Quite moving too.

I first knew about Audie from films when I was a teenager.
I am now 72 years and still hasve the highest regards for Audie - one of the bravest soldiers ever.

I feel brotherly love for him.

Last Monday 2-18-13, my wife Shelley and I took the journey to see Audie Murphy's monument in Roanoke County. This veteran gave more than words can describe here. God bless Audie Murphy and to all of our veterans who served.
