I had heard of Audie Murphy and his accomplishments. Appreciate finding a site with real deal info and not self serving tales. :)

I have admired Audie Murphy for many years. In June this year, my husband and I were privileged to visit Arlington National Cemetery and pay our respects at Audie's gravesite.
American's can be proud of such a tranquil, solemn and beautifully maintained place of hallowed ground that exists at Arlington.
It was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our visit to the United States this year and a memory that will stay with me forever. Rest in Eternal Peace, Audie.

I've seen the movie on Audie Murphy's life as well as several of his movies over the years. I first become aware of him when I was very young and saw the movie about him. His name as well as being awarded the CMH has stayed with me through my adult life. Mr. Murphy was a true hero and patriot of the United States. May his memory never fade.
