Comment:
Audie Murphy is a real inspiration to many youths across the world, for his gallantry is only surpassed by his humanity. He was a perfect fit as Henry Fleming, or 'the youth' as Crane preferred, in 'The Red Badge of Courage' (1951), where we probably get a realistic portrayal of some of the conflicting emotions Murphy himself must have felt as a young soldier enlisted in the US army on foreign territory. To conclude, Murphy symbolizes some of the best characteristics of the American youth of his day. Added: July 26, 2014
Comment:
Audie did so much for our country, My fellow solder's and yet forgotten already by allot, as Audie helped in the PTSD, but yet no one remembers this as well. I will continue to remind everyone who Audie was and what this soldier did for his brothers and sisters who are still serving our nation. Audie will always be in my prayers.
