Since my childhood he was my movie hero. Now, in my high sixties I found an autograph from Audie signed with a personal greeting to me. So I explored him and his movies again. Thanks to Internet I am able to find out a lot of
things about him and his life.

Putting somthing together well in advance of veteran day was think we should recognize him for his service to our country. Maybe show the greatest movie ever to hell and back. I visit Arlington every once and while the tour always talks about him with the greatest respect.

One of the greatest heroes in our countries history. At 5'5" he faced any enemy with remarkable results. I am glad to have found this website as it honors a very great American hero.
