Thank you for this website .We need to keep honoring our veterans and let us not forget who gave us the right to freedom. My dad was cmsgt. George Hauptmann. He was in the air force for 40 years.

The very first I think crush or childhood star crush was audie Murphy. Even as a little girl I loved him and watched every movie. I have read a great deal on his life and all the good he tried to do. I also think that when he was at war he truely believed in helping his fellow man than himself. He wanted to do what was needed not once thinking what could happen to him, and that made him a true hero . I believe in my heart he was a very kind, and gentle person that cared deeply for others. I just wanted to say how much I really admire the man and as an actor . I know hes in Heaven and hes wearing his angel wings!!! God bless his family

We visited the Audie Murphy battle site in France the last week in July 2014.
It was very nice and the tour guide was most informative .
We would recommend this excursion for anyone , seeing the exact location and with the tour guides' description was something to remember !
