I have been a big fan of Audie Murphy ever since I was a child when I watched him in western movies at our local suburban picture show in the 1960's

I have always like to read and learn about Audie Murphy. I am a retired Army Sgt First Class. I served for 23 years. I think this is a good website.

I have a genuine interest in the veteran/actor Audie Murphy. I have since I was a young teen. My interest is more now to learn of his service in World War II. At this very moment I have his movie on 40 Guns to Apache Pass broadcast on Encore western.

Thank you, Betty Harfert

I am and have a huge fan of Audie's movies. He is and should be remembered. Kids now days don't even study American History or even know who he is. My grandson Jonath played football for Killeen High and we had to play Audie Mutphy High. I had memories of what it would be like if he was still here. His legacy should be taught in all schools and kids should know what a hero he is. My fiancé fought in Vietnam and has the Bronze Star, Silver Star, 5 Purple Hearts and is being considered for the Medal of Honor. I am so proud of him and he to is a hero. You ask him about it and will say he did his job. God Bless all our military and pray for those still fighting and those who made the ultimate price
