My husband and I are visiting with his parents, who are great fans of old classic movies. We just watched "No Name on the Bullet." My mother-in-law thought Audie Murphy had that title put on his gravestone. In searching the web, I found this site . . . So I have to add my name to the list of admirers of Audie Murphy. He was a deserving and unassuming person who, naturally, became a superhero. (I also just read Kate DiCamillo's "Flora and Ulysses." All her books are amazing.) Added: May 6, 2015

Growing up back in the 60s and 70s he was one of my favorite soldiers that ever lived (along with Sargent York). What he did for his country, the countries he fighted for and the fellow arm forces that he battled with was just an amazing thing! What he did then and his time in the movies was such a positive thing that I will remember till I die. I did spend ten and a half years in the service and I do thank God I never had to deal stuff like he did. I don't think I ever could have. There will always be a feeling of thanks to Mr. Murphy and the rest of the Arm Forces for protecting my country, my fellow citizens and my families of the past, pressent and the future!!!!!
