I love to watch his movies! He is what every man should pray to be like!! Audie should be honored by our nation by an Audie Murphy Day every year. We owe so much to every person that has fought for the freedoms that we have today. God Bless Audie Murphy & The USA !!!!

I heard of Audie Murphy from the time I went out and shot rabbits when I was 11yrs old. I wished I would have met him and had him to tell me stories. But I know it had to be rough because my great uncle told me when he was wounded he was playing dead and a SS Germany officer shot him in the back 5 times to make sure he was dead but he lived over it!?

There are few like him. It was an honor to visit his grave in Arlington many years ago.
