I have been a huge fan of Audie Murphy for 60 years. I have watched him in movies and on TV. He is my American hero forever! Sad to hear that he died in 1971 but happy to hear that he is being honored through this very informative memorial website. I can't wait to visit his gravesite at Arlington National Cemetery to thank him for his service and for being an advocate for our veterans with PTSD. May Audie rest in peace. God's Blessings, Karen :!brokenheart:

I wish he were here today to show what a real American is. Him and his kind are what made this country great and were the best of us all. I will never forget him and the many like him.

I was honored to meet a Veteran of Audie Murphy's command at Applebee's Restaurant in Ionia, Michigan on Veterans Day. I was truly honor to meet this gentlemen. My only regret was I did not get his name. But he had been Grand Marshall at some Audie Murphy event.

I've watched To Hell and Back every Veterans Day for as long as I can remember, but sadly it hasn't been on the last 2 or 3 years.

As a veteran I can appreciate the trials and tribulations of Audie Murphy's service to Our country. He represented what America was all about, and he set the standards in Honor. I promote his story every chance I get.
