Looking for my church & cem. Prairie Grove Cem. Diboll, Tx on the internet, I found this. I will never forget one Sunday attending a small church in Dibol Tx. I saw a person dressed in western shirt & jeans that looked exactly like Audie.I was shocked. This was approximately 1971.They say everyone has a twin somewhere,Audie did.I feel he deserves the medal.I will never forget him. Added: November 11, 2015

At this very moment the movie "To Hell and Back" is on TV in HD. Audie Murphy will live forever in peoples memories. I just got done telling both my wife and son about him and they were amazed. Even though I am a Canadian/Canuck, I assure everybody reading this that Audie is/was just about as famous and admired here as he is in the good ol' USA, because he fought for us too against a common enemy. God bless him and the US Forces for what he/they did, and for what they do. Nov 11th is Remembrance Day here, and while we honor our own war dead, we also remember our tremendous allies like the USA, and the sacrifices they made. Added: November 9, 2015
