Mr. Murphy was my favorite movie star. I am fascinated to learn about his wonderful family. His wife became a hero to vets in the hospital. So that man was a hero in every sense.

Audie Murphy was a great American who deserves to be remembered. I was introduced to him by a Sabaton song, and it piqued my interest. Learning about him on this site was a pleasure.

I have been an Audie Murphy fan since I was very young . I have seen all of his movies . It was young men like Audie who keep our country free. My father was also in the Army in WWII and served in the Pacific theatre. That generation really was and is "The Greatest Generation". One of my former co-workers had an uncle who served with Audie and was recommended posthumously by Audie for the Congressional Medal of Honor.
