When I was a teenager in the 70s I was a big fan and seen most of his movies my favorit was Destry I had seen too many times to count and still my favorit to hr still my favorite actor.

My mother brought Audie Murphy to our attention as young children back 8n the 60's. I believe we've seen most of his movies. She told about him being a hero too. We are Canadians but we appreciate and respect both our and American heroes.

We are very grateful to see the efforts that are being made to remember and honor the names of those in our history who have made a difference in our lives and sense of freedom.

I will never forget Audie Murphy. I have taught my children all about him as we now live in the States, and i will continue to teach anyone who's interested, sadly this part of history is not taught in schools any more, but as long as we remember he will never truly be gone.
