have always admired Mr.Murphy Not only as an actor, But also a true American hero.I have tried to teach my children and grandchildren aboutn him.My oldest daughter has been in the National Guard as wll as my son in law.So they know of this great man.And have taught their boys about him.Ad.I pray that every generation know of this man and keep hismemory going.As well as all those who have served and are serving.Especially those who done sop much

I am a veteran of the Navy and Army. I watched all of Audie's movies as a boy and have always known of his military honors. I was just watching one of his movies last night and was out reading about him again and came upon this website. Thank you for keeping his name alive, he is truly a great American.

Audie Murphy was one of my favorite Movie Stars before I was old enough to learn of his outstanding military service.And I was saddened at the news of his death in 1971...
