A truly remarkable soldier. After reading his awards I was overwhelmed with the bravery and leadership of Audie. It leaves me in awe of his experiences and self sacrifice. It would be a great education for this information to be told to today's citizens in getting to know the real sacrifices Audie made.

He Was A Great Man ! My father was in WWII., too. Most of our country's great men and women of that area, have all been called to that higher power, to serve the Lord. Missed, but not for gotten, by people born in the fifty's and before. :)

Just visited the World War II museum in New Orleans and I am reminded of what a great man Audie Murphy was and hopefully his memory and what he fought for will never be forgotten.
