My best wishes to Terry and Skip.

Fond memories of cub scouts and building the wooden race cars in Cub Scouts...more than a few years or decades ago.

Also remember your mom taking you out to Brown's for a hot fudge sunday for either Terry's or Skip's birthday. I got to come along.

After I left Cambell Hall, didn't have any contact.

The death of your father was a shame, and I am so sorry for you.

Lost my folks 2005. My dad used to go to Sepulvada VA to get some of his meds. Did not know at the time that your mom worked there.

Best wishes to you and your family.

Bruce Malby

I grew up admiring Audie Murphy and his heroism after watching the movie "To Hell and Back". I then looked for and have watched most of his movies over the years. He was a greatest hero of our "Greatest Generation", and a fine actor. His premature loss was a very sad day for me.

I just watched a tribute to Audie Murphy. He was great. Wish more teenagers would follow in his footsteps. May you rest in peace Audie.

Thank you for this site. I think many people forget what it takes to keep people free. It is the effort of people like Audie Murphy who laid the foundation for the freedoms we all would otherwise be without.
Thank you to all who have served our country.

I grew up watching Audie Murphy with my dad. My dad died a few days ago and my favorite memory is watching Audie Murphy in his westerns with my dad.

I was a good friend of Audie in California and we saw each other alot. I knew him from Universal Studios.
We were both from Texas.I am still sad that he has passed. I wish his two sons the best. Their Dad was great and I really loved him.
When I knew him my name was Nancy Finley. God bless his sons!!! :D
