Istill watch all his movies and read every book I can find. God bless Audie Murphy and his two sons. There will never be anyone like him.

Audie Murphy was a real hero, a fellow soldier and a great actor. I always enjoy looking at his movies over and over again when I get the chance. Gone Too Soon.

I have been a Audie Murphy fan since a little fella, loving his movies. Then discovering that he was a great American hero just cemented my feelings. All my children know about this good man and we will keep his memory always shared in this family.

As the daughter of an army veteran of WWII (an hero forever in my eyes!) and a big fan of cowboy movies (who lives in TX now), I am so very pleased that this website exists to his honor! :)

This is a man that deserves this honor more than most of the people I've seen receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom in the past 8 years.

I joined the US Army in January of 1956. I was lucky enough to be in the audience for a talk to the "young troops" by Major Audie Murphy while in Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. No, I can't remember all that he said but I will never forget the feeling of comradery I had after his talk. I will always admire him.
