Recently visited Murphy's memorial in France. Hidden in some trees along side a small road. Very nice.

I remember watching movies starring Audie Murphy as a child and always knew he was a WWII hero. More recently we have access to GRIT TV and they have shown several of his movies that I've watched and enjoyed as an adult. Audie Murphy is a true American hero and his actions speak louder than any words could ever voice.

Very interesting web site. As an old soldier who spent many years in the British special forces I felt we should never forget our old soldiers. Keep it going.

it's a shame you died too young, you deserved to live to be a ripe old age. I've always admired you for your bravery, honor and duty.
