He was one of the Great Hero's of our times. I have seen all his movies. I wish I could have meet him. He was truly a man of God army.. I was a Marine for 0ver 30 yrs.. I saw and was with two Medal of Honor recepants. I was proud have been able to be among there Unit. 2ndBN. 4th Marines. Audie would have been an outstanding Marine. But that was not the Lord want him to be. So The Army was reward with him. He was doing what the Lord had assigned him to do. GOD all our Service Men and Women. They are doing there very best as he did. He would be so Proud of them all. :!sun:

I have lived a lifetime of knowing that Audie Murphy was an actor, but just found out that he was the most Decorated War Hero of WWII. That is so amazing to me, but also sad that more has not been published telling the world of this heroic man. I am intrigued that I can now begin to learn of Audie Murphy's wartime events.
