My husband and I have viewed almost all the movies made by Audie Murphy. He is a favorite. More young people need to know about the heroes of the greatest generation!

Loved Audie Murphy as a kid who was totally obsessed with movies, especially westerns. His boyish good looks were incredibly charming. So glad you started this site to honor his memory.

Just finishing Their Finest Hour by Winston Churchill and was looking for a good first edition book to follow. To Hell and Back seems to be a logical introduction to what the ground was like. It's difficult to imagine a single battle like the Battle of France where nearly 500,000 people died in less than two months and the Battle of Berlin with an estimated 370,000 deaths in two weeks.
