This is a wonderful site dedicated to the memory of Audie Murphy. I have been interested in him since I saw "To Hell and Back" as a young person and am very grateful to find so much information about him at this site.

Thanks fore creating it!

As a Brit what I know about Audie Murphy was discovered down the years from seeing his movies and reading the odd scrap of information. So, it has been a joy to read the detail of his exploits.

America should be proud of this man for what he achieved on our behalf.

Sadly though, in this age of rampant political correctness, men like Audie Murphy will be rejected and the things he fought for viewed as a mistake.

From one Brit, Thank you Audie Murphy! :D

I met Audie, and Susan Cabot in the 50's, when I was asked if I could bring my cerebral palsy son for Audie to meet. Audie was a very remarkable man, and Rick was quite taken with him, as his dad had told him, that he was being given something special, in being able to meet Audie Murphy and Susan Cabot. Rick is gone now, but he sure helped many people to achieve things that they thought were impossible to attain. May Audie and Rick rest in peace for what they contributed to the world.

Hi,
I'm a freemason and I know that Audie Murphy was a freemason too.

I want to do some research a paper and present it to other masons. As time goes by, the memory of Audie Murphy will fade if his brothers do not carry his message of brotherly love, relief, and bravery that Audie exemplified on the battlefield and in his movie career. I appreciate your website as a tribute to that memory.

Do have any information about Brother Audie L. Murphy --the mason?
Sincerely,
John Forlenza-Bailey, Past Master of Wyllys St. John's No. 4 West Hartford, CT.
