My father was a returned soldier.
A Rat of Tobruk and served in the Libyan desert during the second world war.
We live the life we live today due to great men like my father and Audie Murphy.

What a hero was Audie L. Murphy.Had the honor of visiting his grave a few years ago. I just stood there in awe as tears ran down my cheeks. Rest in peace my fellow veteran. I am retired from USAF. Great web site.

When I was young, I used to watch films with Audie Murphy and liked them very much. I did not know that he was the most decorated American soldier of WWII. Knowing that, I am even a bigger fan now.
